January 2015 - WEEKENDS

Besides the cartoons that are leaving the weekdays schedule, The Jetsons are gone from the weekends. The Flintstones keep their Sunday slot plus get another one, replacing The Jetsons at 18.00 cet. So in January we will get a sort of a good-bye double bill of one of Hanna Barbera's best known and most beloved classic shows. Enjoy it before it all ends in February.

  1. Do you have anything regarding March? cause recently someone posted a schedule for it, and it claims to have a lot of classics back.
It seems possible, but then again it could be a joke/fantasy. I reckon you'd have all the right info.

    1. Oh, i should've mentioned it was on a Russian forum, and had links to Turner contacts.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page. It's all fake!

    3. I know, which is why i wanted to check here, as he posts all the right news for it. I'm finding that schedule hard to believe as well.

    4. I still don't have the March schedule but sadly I'm pretty sure that schedule is fake. There's no any of the new shows that join the channel in February plus I doubt Boom is interested in returning HB shows that haven't been aired in years.

    5. I know, right. This is clearly false. Anyway, thanks for answering back.

  2. Typical communists, making fun of our misery.
RNDH1987, why don't they bring back those Hanna-Barbera show. After all they are the ones that launched Boomerang. I know it's highly unlikely, but I disagree with you on it not being a good idea.

    1. Oh, I don't think it's a bad idea. I would be the happiest man on earth if Boomerang once again became a classic cartoons channel. But from following the channel last year, it's clear they are going into a new direction. They are now a modern versions of classics channel. I guess it brings ratings and that's all they care about, just like any other channel. Ratings chasing has ruined History Channel, Discovery, MTV and many other channels. It's sad....

    2. That's something that happened internationally called network decay. Boomerang feeds in Europe are now saying goodbye to classic cartoons and is not showing any Cartoon Cartoon, while Asia is in luck.

  3. Baby Looney Tunes, Krypto, Lazytown and Tom and Jerry Tales bring ratings?
Krypto is a shameful parody of the DC universe.
Tom and Jerry Tales have some good things going for them but not rerun 8 times a day.
June Foray's acting is the only reason to watch Baby Looney Tunes. The other actors have their dialogue sped up at time like crazy (except possibly for Sam Vincent)..
Lazytown is great for Disney, not Boomerang.

  4. I am really starting to get annoyed from all these double bills on channels. Boomerang has about 11 shows...did you know that they used to be 20.-Georgi

    1. Sorry, but unless there's an actual source for that, we're assuming those are FAKE schedule changes you've put in. Some of us saw the forum.

    2. Sorry, dude from Russia - that was fake schedule. I think, that Turner/Warner Bros. won't order dubbings for Boomerang classic shows.

    3. The present schedule, and not fake!

    4. @Максим Коваленко Share us that schedule. At this moment, I can't believe.

    5. No-one will believe it until we have ACTUAL evidence that these shows are definitely coming in March.

  9. I'm not sure if that schedule on the russian forum is fake, but i'm starting to think it is, because it looks a lot like the one before the rebrand, i mean take a closer look at it and you'll see Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, The Jetsons and The Flintstones are back and in the same slots they had before the channel's rebrand. Also the new shows Inspector Gadget and The Jungle Bunch are entirely gone from that schedule, and that's kinda suspicious, isn't it?
