  1. Please answer me just one question: Will we be getting more Hanna-Barbera shows or will we simply continue to get this new crap? -Georgi

    1. No, all classics will be gone except for Scooby. Boomerang is not a classic cartoon network anymore.

    2. I want to see forgotten CN shows, but it's a shame that most classics will be removed.
It would be nice to see at least Top Cat instead.

  2. Will Boom Europe still have Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry as well?

Also, will the new schedule have more Cartoon Network shows as well?

  3. First of all, thank you for replying. Secondly RND1987, this very site calls Boomerang "Cartoon Network's classic cartoon channel.", yet we have seen no evidence of this in recent times.
It has been turned into some Disney Channel-like-care and share-channel. A dog shouldn't be forced to watch it. And now you are taking out Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera's Tom and Jerry? It isn't enough you destroyed it for us boys by removing ''Johnny Bravo'', ''Hair Bear Bunch'' and ''Top Cat''.
I'll give you this ''The New Tom and Jerry Show'', ''The Garfield Show'' are cool, but if you take away ''The Flintstones'' you will have pushed the self-destruct button.-Georgi

    1. Concerned Georgi, it is nice to let you know about the fact that the channel has changed a lot.
The blog's author has got BM CEE since October 2011 yet I think that it's impossible to change the blog title and address.
The point you just mentioned needs to be changed by the blog's author and creator to something like "Cartoon Network's family animation channel". He used to get BM HQ which, recently brought Top Cat back to the schedule.
The only thing to do is to insist on launching Tooncast in Europe, at the very least to the areas where BM HQ and BM CEE caters to.
Remember that there are countries where at least one H-B show is popular: Mozambique has Tom and Jerry, Sri Lanka has Top Cat and El Salvador has The Flintstones.
The Boomerang (both HQ and CEE) of today is so awful it makes me want to see Tooncast launch next year and then see signs of change by 2018.

    1. Concerned Anonymous from 18:29 CET, it is not enough for a feed like that.
It looks like a "Disney Channel-like-care and share-channel" in which a dog should not be forced to watch it.

    1. Yes, I do! I sided correctly!
We want Tooncast in Europe in 2015!

  6. RandomMe Entertainment, please understand that in Bulgaria we don't have Tooncast or Bommerang HD Dolby DigitalHQ. All the classic cartoon channels we have is Boomerang, which is as much classic as pre-1989 Democratic East Germany was Democratic. This is what we have! Do you realize that we are ready for the funny farm. I have a long romantic relationship with animation, it is never going to lose me.-Georgi

    1. Boomerang is the only classic cartoon channel in parts of Europe, incluiding Portugal where we no longer get it.
Seriously, like I said before: a hypothetical Tooncast Europe launch in 2015 will probably lead to the channel's downhill era by 2018.
Plus the German version has had tons of variety, but they have been losing some of it as of lately. Plus they have Boomerang HD Super High Quality Dolby 5.1 since exactly one year ago today.

  7. I know a lot of people are arguing about this, but guys, this is only the beginning. They're just testing the waters here.
We've had this similar thing in 2011, when a lot of stuff left and a couple of new shows dropped in for a short period. If something doesn't work, they'll put something else in that slot, or try something new.

As for the UK, i can't confirm now, but i would predict the same shows presumably staying. Garfield, Scooby, Bean, Tom & Jerry and Looney Tunes. Some various other shows may come and go, but it's practically potluck.

    1. No I'm not! I just have a sense of humor!
This is just a serious issue concerning a channel.

  9. We are all crazy after watching the pre-pre-pre-school Boomerang shows they are giving us. Cartoonito/Boomerang and LazyTown. Really!

    1. Launching a separate Cartoonito channel looks like a dead shot. It seems that the channel is currently being suffered by supreme lunacy thanks to the Russian and Cartoonito-based influences. Plus, the change will occur in a time where another Rusisan law is put into place.

  10. BM USA will air a corny Christmas direct-to-video movie called Frozen in Christmas on the 16th of the current month.
Ridiculous CGI shows and specials seem to be te future of Boomerang.

  11. Going off-topic: today I had a dream where BM HQ returned.
