February 2015 WEEKDAYS

On February 2. Boomerang Europe will get the whole new look, logo and a new schedule that definitely ends it's classic cartoon channel history. This has been obvious for a few months now and most of 2014 when classics left the network one after another. We were left with the most popular HB classics like Scooby, Tom and Jerry, weekend slots for The Jetsons and The Flintstones and Looney Tunes classics from Warner Bros. Well, from February next year, only Scooby Doo will remain on the channel. All the other are gone while their modern day versions will dominate the schedule.

3 new shows will join the channel:

INSPECTOR GADGET - 2. February
THE JUNGLE BUNCH - 9. February
ROBIN HOOD - 23. February

I guess it will be the new, CGI version of Inspector Gadget while I have no idea about what kind of a show Robin Hood is.

Tiny Toon Adventures will return to the channel while Boomerang and Cartoonito Tales are gone. Baby Looney Tunes only keep one overnight slot and the schedule is dominated by double bills plus overnights are not just a replay of morning schedule anymore.

EDIT: In some typical, last minute changes, Robin Hood will not join the schedule in February. I've edited the schedule accordingly.

  1. That Robin Hood show is airing on Canal Panda over here. It does have a subtitle, something like "Adventures in Sherwood".
I was expecting for more CN shows but now they want to start competing with pre-school channels.

  2. My friend (as of the last couple of hour), the moment they stopped all of the ''Yogi Bear'' shows, I knew that they have nothing but sinister plans. Dick Dastardly ain't got nothing on them. I was also hoping for at least ''Kids Next Door''-Georgi

    1. No CN shows, no better schedule, no nothing! You are nothing but a worthless channel.
Boomerang, your channel is being attacked by cheap shows! You must help the channel!

  3. I think i know which Robin Hood it is.
There is a recent one we have on POP! in the UK called Robin Hood Mischief in Sherwood. Here's an image source: http://www.nottinghampost.com/images/localworld/ugc-images/276368/Article/images/20960698/6016173-large.jpg

  4. Hi, just wondering, can I ask what your source of information regarding this schedule is? It seems very legit, but I'm curious because I couldn't find any source and/or link listed anywhere.

    1. ...sorry if that sounds like a stupid question, but today is pretty much the first time I'm visiting this site.

    3. Thanks! :) And thanks for the reply. I have to admit I don't actually get Boomerang myself, but I'm reporting news about the upcoming Inspector Gadget reboot on my own fan site for that series... and it was nice to find such exact info about the future Boomerang schedule.

Incidentally, I just found another site claiming that the Inspector Gadget series is scheduled for Boomerang France on January 3: https://lesaccrosauxseries1.wordpress.com/2014/12/05/inspecteur-gadget-nouvelle-serie-sur-boomerang/comment-page-1/ I'm not sure if that info is credible, and it sounds very strange to me considering your info about the global Boomerang rebrand starting February 2. (Plus, it was reported earlier that the Gadget reboot was purchased exclusively by another channel in France.) I don't suppose your Boomerang schedules have mentioned anything about new shows debuting before February 2?
