  2. Hey, i saw something that caught my attention on Boomerang.

There's an ident played before Popeye, which is a no-music version of the birds "Next" ident. There was a bunch of text which i couldn't understand, as i'm not familar with the language.

Do you know what it translates? and if so, what is the ident? some kind of warning?

    1. It's in Russian, it says something about the channel's license. The same thing appears sometimes on CN RSEE (Russia & southern eastern Europe).

    2. hmm.. okay. Do you suppose they broadcast over Popeye in Russia, or is there something occuring? i have no idea, i only saw the ident for the first time and can't translate the text. i could catch it again tonite, and send a screengrab to you.

btw, i heard some news for December on the Cartoon and Boomerang Portal. I won't say, but you probably know already what the big story is.

    3. Yes, I heard, I actually posted it on another board and it spread from there lol . I'm impatient to post December schedule, it's still early but will do it later in October.

As for the Russian sign/text, I don't think it has anything to do with Popeye. I saw it before some other cartoons at random times, it's just some general announcement or at least I think it is.

  3. here's an extra bit of info on the schedule:

After Boomerang Cinema, they'll be airing Penelope Pitstop at 15:20 and Dexter's Lab at 15:45, following up to Looney Tunes at 16:00. again, this varies on the film.

    1. Yes, that happens when New Scooby Doo Mysteries airs as film on Boomerang Cinema because it's length is 50 minutes.
