- Dastardly offers to give The General Proof that the squadron is doing its job and not just collecting flight pay. 
 - The General calls Dick Dastardly to tell him he is allowed to take a two weeks furlough. Zilly, Klunk and Muttley now have to try to stop the pigeon without their leader.
 - Muttley dreams he's Leonardo DaVinci, trying to invent the first flying machine.

Fred El Terrifico 
 Vacationing in Rockapulco, Fred encounters international jewel thieves who plant a million dollars' worth of stolen diamonds on him to carry across the border. The deception is detected and Fred is offered a reward, and is subsequently arrested back home for failing to declare the reward money!

   - Zilly,Muttley and Klunk refuse to obey Dastardly's command because their enlistments are up.
   - Muttley dreams he's a deep sea treasure hunter, with Dastardly out to steal the treasure he eventually finds.
