Details about Boomerang changes

Yesterday a new version of Boomerang for Central & Eastern Europe started as a separate feed from Pan European version. At first this new version was supposed to be only for Poland, Romania & Hungary but now I've learned from Turner that it will spread to all countries in central and eastern Europe. This version airs in these countries:
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Albania, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia and CIS, Serbia, Slovak Rep, Slovenia, Ukraine.

So basically this version replaces Pan European version in most of Europe. I'm not sure what other countries in Europe now get Pan version, I think it's Netherlands, Greece and Portugal since they are the only countries without a regional version now. Of course Pan European Boomerang still airs in Middle East and Africa like before. It still has the old classics plus Cartoonito and is still the best version of Boomerang, sadly most of us can't get it anymore.

Since I get the new CEE version now I will have to focus on it. So far the schedule is much worse than before with most classic cartoons gone and only few ,the most famous, classics left. Also there's too much Cartoonito, almost 4 hours every day. We can only hope this changes in the future though I'm not sure cause most European versions of Boomerang became baby channels with no classic cartoons.

EDIT: Good news! In January 2012 some old classics will be returning so we can hope that trend continues in the new year!

Introducing Cartoonito

Cartoonito is a brand new programming block that will air on Boomerang from October 12. On weekdays it will air 3 times a day (from 5.30 till 0700, from 11.00 till 11.55 and from 18.00 till 18.50) and on weekends it will have only one early morning slot (from 06.25 till 07.55).

  JELLY JAMM

Jelly Jamm celebrates music, fun and friendship. Kids are invited to join Bello and his friends in their comedic adventures as they learn to live in harmony on the magical Planet Jammbo – origin of music in the universe.

Meet Goomo, whose goal in conflicts is to find an expedient solution that makes everyone happy again. Goomo is basically a happy guy who finds complete freedom of expression in dancing. He is most comfortable with best friend Bello and loves to play along with his games.

Bello is the one that has an insatiable curiosity and boundless energy, has big ideas and values his friends, especially his best friend and sidekick Goomo. And if there are no adventures, he’ll invent one with many twists and turns.

Rita has a huge appetite for experience, which sometimes makes her zoom past the caution signs. She loves to pet Dodos, tea parties and playing with her doll princess.

Mina’s facts and technology have often benefited the group; science and invention are her world of play. Like any good scientist Mina wants to see "what will happen next!"

And of course the Dodos, the most prodigious animals on Jammbo. A cheerful Dodo would make the world’s most fun pet. And, very important: Dodos LOVE music. Their most important task is the operation and maintenance of the Music Factory.

BANANAS IN PYJAMAS

The internationally renowned preschool series Bananas in Pyjamas is a colourful new CGI animated series.  New stories, new laughs and new songs will delight audiences everywhere as those loveable twin pyjama wearing bananas, B1 and B2, their adorable friends the Teddies and the ever mischievous Rat, romp their way through the magical world of Cuddlestown.  There are some new friends to meet too; Topsy the cheeky kangaroo, Charlie the inventive monkey, Pedro the carefree pig and Bernard, the wise old dog.

Each episode is a self contained story in which our two heroes, B1 and B2 engage with their friends from Cuddlestown and have an adventure. Inevitably, the Bananas always set out to deal with whatever it is in a positive ‘can do’ frame of mind and are full of confidence, good humor, generosity and optimism. And just as inevitably, their attempts to deal with the situation or to achieve their aims run into more problems. This never deters them however and they persist until either good luck or good management or the intervention of their friends sees a solution appear and a happy ending result.

BABY LOONEY TUNES

Before they became cartoon stars, Bugs, Daffy, Taz, Sylvester, Tweety and the gang were just children! Baby Looney Tunes follows their adventures as they learn about friendship, how to deal with bullies, growing up and leaving the nursery.
Living together in their funny old Victorian house under the watchful eye of kind old Granny, the gang of tots have lots of fun wreaking as much havoc as they can lay their hands on and giving Granny a whole head of grey hair.
Baby Bugs Bunny leads his friends and wants to be a star.
Baby Lola daydreams a lot.
Baby Daffy always wants his own way.
Baby Sylvester gets easily scared.
Baby Taz loves the good things in life.
Finally,
Baby Tweety is kind and caring.

GERALD MCBOING BOING

"Gerald McBoing Boing" is a collection of hilarious adventures featuring Gerald, a six-year-old boy who makes himself heard using sounds instead of words. Together with his parents and best friends, Jacob and Janine, Gerald's world is filled with non-stop "gags!" and "giggles!"

Once you might find him climbing a giant beanstalk to find a Giant on the other end, some other time he will rescue his friends from a not so nice witch, while on another occasion he would voyage through outer space and meet some funny aliens. Whatever he might do,

Gerald shows the world that sometimes he can say more through his sounds than if he had all the words in a dictionary. The series is based on the famous Dr. Seuss book.
