The show follows the
adventures of the eccentric Looney Tunes star: The Tazmanian Devil. Watch his
interactions with his extended family, friends and enemies on the fictional
island of Tazmania. Taz is known for his short temper and little patience. He
will eat absolutely anything as his appetite has no limits. He is best known
for his speech consisting mostly of grunts, growls and rasps, and his ability
to spin and bite through just about anything.
SUPER GREAT SHOW VIVA BOOMERANG
ReplyDeleteIt'll seem odd, cause they haven't aired the Looney Tunes shorts he was in. or any other current ones. Are they still working out the dubs on that?
ReplyDeleteIt's not related to dubbing. Turner owns all Looney Tunes shorts made before 1949 so they always only aired those. Taz made his debut in the 50s so that's why his shorts are never aired, the same for Road Runner. If they wanted to air those shorts they would have to pay for the rights. I wish they would do that, best Looney Tunes are from the 50s imo. I know they air them in UK and other countries.
Deletethat is weird, that your station doesn't have the rights to them, yet every other Boomerang or international Turner network has the entire LT library.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't seem right at all.
Cartoonito Tales is coming to Boomerang Europe!
ReplyDeletei've made a better blog for the UK updates. i can change it it looks too much like yours. http://boomerangarchive.blogspot.co.uk/

Oh, and Taz-Mania is now on Boomerang in my country.
I added it. You're from Portugal, right? When did you get Taz-Mania?
DeleteYes, i'm portuguese. We got Taz-Mania a few weeks ago on our Boomerang. Actually, we got Taz-Mania on RTP 1 (portuguese national channel, FYI) a loong time ago, according to a blog it first aired in 1994, with subtitles. We also got Tom and Jerry Tales, months before it actually premiered on your Boomerang.
DeleteTaz-Mania had a "pog" collection (in Portugal we had an epic name - "Tazos).
Now on CN Portugal and Africa: Regular Friendship Time.
The double "o" on "loong" means that it first aired a few years before i was actually born.
